I came to work one day and hurried up the stairs to sit in my chair, as eleven o’clock rolled around I found that I had a tackle question. My very first thought was to go to Elias and ask him. Again, I make my way down the stairs, as I enter the fishing department I see no Elias. I quickly ask Erik where he was and Erik said “Elias is in Africa fishing.” A wave of jealousy came over me; I want to go fishing in Africa how cool would that be? So I ask Erik my tackle question and then once more hurry up the stairs. Elias came back from his fishing adventure which took place the week of June 26th thru July 6th; I quickly asked him “how was your trip?” All Elias could do was smile and say “Awesome, senorita.” Elias then proceeded to tell me that he was fishing near the Canary Islands, and was only thirty-five miles from Morocco. So next time you are in Crook and Crook, stop and ask Elias “How was your trip to Africa?” You will be able to see the smile for yourself. Elias was kind enough to provide us with some pictures from his trip.
