Bart Sherwood the most prolific blue fin tuna captain of this century has once again worked his magic. Bart and crew won a dolphin [mahi mahi] tournament in the Florida Keys and quickly raced over to Cat Cay in the Bahamas for the annual tuna. Bart and his Merritt Boat Fighting Lady captured a beast the first day in the seven hundred pound category to the cheers of his old friend Jimbo Thomas on an adjacent boat. The angler was Jim Vernor. Jon Pflug, Dave Jones and Terry Crisp worked the cockpit Two days later the same group with the addition of Captain Alex Adler gave a repeat performance with another tuna in the seven hundred pound range.
